Ashbrooke Sports Club has long since been the home of sport in Sunderland. Set in the Victorian suburb of Ashbrooke the club is just ten minutes’ walk from the city centre and has housed numerous sports clubs since it opened its doors in 1887.
Our club is run by volunteers for members, originally formed in 1976. We have 3 squash/racketball courts, one of which is glass backed and has a seating area. All 3 courts have viewing areas. Members have access to the courts at their own convenience with the use of a key.
Boldon Squash Club is a small but friendly club - we offer four courts 365 days of the year with bookings every 45 minutes, from early morning until late in the evening. Internal leagues played throughout the year, squash competitions and a well stocked bar.

All matches are best of 5 games, at 14/14 it's the first to 15. All matches to be played with a double yellow spot ball.
Formed in 1950, Carlisle Squash Club has developed into one of the best squash facilities in the North of England with six squash courts (two show court glass-backs with seating for 250 spectators) a state of the art gym, spinning studio and steam room.

The City of Newcastle Golf Club was formally founded in October of 1891, playing on a course on the town Moor on land leased from the Freeman of the City and the Corporation of Newcastle upon Tyne. The old mill on Claremont Road became the clubhouse and was rented from W B Reid, a well known local brewer.
The club is a friendly, private members club with 3 courts with balconies, and both male & female shower and changing facilities. We currently have 3 teams playing in the Welsh Leagues along with junior coaching facilities on most Saturday mornings.

Scores to be posted online by one of the players i.e. 3-0, 3-1, 3-2, 2-3, 1-3, 0-3 etc. The system will work out the points.

Our very own squash league formed by the employees of NCFE. Open to all employees with the aim of being fun and getting more of us into the great game of squash.
The Club was formed on 4th June 1892 at a meeting in Lockharts Cocoa Rooms in Clayton Street, Newcastle. The first records in the Golfing Journal of the time show it as being named NEWCASTLE UNITED WORKMEN’S GOLF CLUB which signified that it was for the benefit of all classes, not only the rich and titled, and the spirit of friendship continues to this day.
The Squash club has three men’s teams and three ladies teams competing in BUCS and local leagues. The teams train throughout the week and have enjoyed enormous success at all levels. Training has been introduced for University staff and is open to all staff members as well as training for beginners and players of all standards.

Northern Squash Club is located in Gosforth at the site of Northern Rugby Football club. It is one of the larger clubs in Newcastle with 6 mens teams, 3 ladies teams and 2 junior teams. It also has a production line of juniors coming through thanks to the efforts of our club's junior coaching programme.
Our internal league is open to all members and we promote a fun, safe and competitive culture for all players to play squash. The league enjoys around 100 players so all standards are covered from the top players to those that are playing in the league for the first time.

Our Junior Ladder provides our junior section players with a safe and enjoyable environment to springboard their competitive playing and begin to sharpen their squash playing. It give juniors an opportunity to compete against other juniors before the graduate to the main internal leagues.

Founded in 1976 as part of the local rugby club's sporting facilities, Penrith Squash & Racketball club is one of two squash clubs in the Eden Valley. at Winters Park, Penrith. Based at Winters Park, we have around 100 members, operating from our clubhouse which has four well-maintained, heated courts and separate changing rooms.

We have always enjoyed a reputation for being a local club for local players with nearly all our members coming from the local area. Despite the downturn in the popularity of the game we have enjoyed the support of a loyal and active membership.
The club has active leagues and one men's team which plays in the Cumbria 1st Division, and one ladies team which also plays in the Cumbria league. We also have an active junior section with regular coaching sessions and leagues.
We run a weekly Club and Open Night every Thursday evening (6pm to 8pm) for all members as well as those non-members interested in trying out squash or racketball without commitment to buying equipment or becoming a member.
We have closed and handicapped tournaments during the year for men, ladies and juniors.
Courts are booked via a booking system held with the clubhouse. These are available in 45-minute slots, with lights paid for through meters at £4 per session. Entry is gained by members by an automated entry system. Visitors to the Penrith area can book by ringing Chris Lilley on 07740 933 989.
The Club is part of the Penrith Rugby Club but has its own committee elected by the membership.
We welcome membership applications from adults, juniors (U18 or in full-time education) and families. There is currently no waiting list.

Primrose Community Centre boasts two squash courts recently refurbished to an excellent standard. They are bright, warm and deliver a true bounce of the ball. They are at ground level with a glass back design leading to the same level viewing area behind for spectators and players alike and are widely regarded as two of the best courts in the Northumbria squash area.
Here at Ravensworth Golf Club we have a fantastic 18 hole golf course that was formed in 1906. The tight fairways and fast-running greens combine to provide a good test of golf for players of all abilities.
The current Durham & Cleveland County Club of the Year, we are situated within the MacKinlay Park complex alongside the Rugby Club offering 4 glassback courts, showers, social area with shared bar facilities and function rooms.
