Year 5 school festival

Northerns very successful school's outreach programme continued in December, with our coaches working with Year 5 children at Gosforth Central middle school. Four weeks of PE lesssons were followed by an invitation to the best 4 boys and girls in each class, to come back to Northern for a squash festival, where the learned the rudiments of the game and then had an inter class competition. There were 48 matches in the inter class competition but we still couldnt split 5A and 5W, who were all awarded medals as joint winners.
