December Junior player of the month
The December junior player of the month at Norther Squash club is John Thompson. John is one of our brightest prospects, along with his twin brother Matthew and many members will have seen them around the club or played against them in the internal leagues.
John was an important part of the county team that qualified for the national inter county finals in December and has been performing well for the junior 2nd team in the county leagues.
Over the Xmas holidays John travelled to Sheffield to compete in the U15 category of the British Junior Open ( the unofficial world championships ) and he was Northern's highest finisher, across all the categories.
John`s dedication, enthusiasm and work ethic will ensure that he is sure to become a great player. Well done John and keep up the good work
