The last major junior event of the season

The last major junior event of the season was held recently when the three local middle schools played each other for the middle school cup. 42 Juniors were involved and 72 matches played in a thrill packed afternoon of junior squash. Gosforth East Middle School ( GEMS ) had an incredibly strong girls squad, with five of their players already playing in the club`s junior structure, topped off by Ava and Kate Naisbitt who have already represented the county. Gosforth Cenral Middle School had the best boys squad with 6 boys who are already playing in the local Dunlop challenge series, topped off by the county U11 number one , Ethan Brown. Gosforth Junior Academy had a good all round squad with strength in depth in both boys and girls. In the end GEMS strength in girls squash was enough to deliver the trophy Image Text
